Dr Lady Phyll Opoku-Gyimah

Executive director, DIVA Charitable Trust


Dr Lady Phyll Opoku-Gyimah is executive director of DIVA Charitable Trust and a globally recognised LGBTQIA+ activist.

Co-founder of UK Black Pride, she has spent decades championing racial, gender and LGBTQIA+ equality. Through her advocacy, leadership and community organising, Lady Phyll continues to drive lasting change for marginalised communities in the UK and beyond.


Russell T Davies OBE

Screenwriter and television producer


Russell T Davies is a screenwriter and television producer, best known for shows like Doctor Who, Queer As Folk and It’s A Sin.Throughout his career, Russell has championed LGBTQIA+ stories, providing powerful representation. He is also a passionate and vocal advocate for trans rights.


Dame Kelly Holmes DBE, MBE

she/her

Double Olympic champion and media personality


Receiving an MBE in 1998, Col Dame Kelly Holmes is a military veteran and retired international athlete. She won two gold medalsat the Athens Olympics in 2004, and was awarded a DBE in 2005. She is a global inspirational speaker and a trusted voice for the LGBTQIA+ community.


Alan Carr

Comedian, broadcaster and presenter


Alan Carr is a comedian, broadcaster, writer, and television personality. Last year, he won The Celebrity Traitors, cementing hisstatus as a national treasure. Throughout his career, he has provided LGBTQIA+ representation, starring on shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Changing Ends and the short film This Living Room Is A Proud One.


Dr Victoria McCloud

Lawyer and retired judge (King’s Bench Master)


Victoria McCloud is a British lawyer who became the youngest High Court Master in 2010 and the UK’s first transgender judge. After 14 years on the bench, she retired in April 2024 and now works as a litigation strategist and advocate for whistleblowing and trans rights.


Heather Peace

Actor and musician


Heather Peace is known for her roles in Waterloo Road and EastEnders. She came out as a lesbian to her mother aged 19 and has since been a prominent supporter of LGBTQIA+ equality. She is a patron of akt and has worked with other LGBTQIA+ charities such as Stonewall.


Kate Osborne MP

Labour MP


Since 2019, Kate Osborne has served as Labour MP for Jarrow and Gateshead East. Additionally, Kate has consistently been on the Women and Equalities Committee, and previously the Backbench Business Committee. She is an active LGBTQIA+ activist.


Cat Burns

Singer-songwriter


Double-platinum artist Cat Burns was the biggest-selling British female artist of 2022 and gave an acclaimed performance of her viral smash, go, at the 2023 BRIT Awards. In 2024, she released her Mercury Prize-nominated album, early twenties, followed by How To Be Human in 2025.

Dr Ranj Singh presented the BAFTA award-winning CBeebies show Get Well Soon and was a resident doctor on This Morning. Hisbook, How To Be A Boy: And Do It Your Own Way was published in 2023. He also played Lance in the tour of the award-winning musical & Juliet.

Andrew Scott is known for his roles in Sherlock, Fleabag, Pride and All Of Us Strangers. In early 2024, he spoke out about gettingrid of the term “openly gay” during a roundtable discussion for The Hollywood Reporter. He has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQIA+ rights throughout his career.


12 Bella Ramsey

Bella Ramsey, a 22-year-old non-binary actor, has starred in Game Of Thrones, and most notably as Ellie in the HBO drama The Last Of Us alongside Pedro Pascal. They are an inspiring young voice in the queer community.


13 Cynthia Erivo

Cynthia Erivo is an actor, singer, songwriter and producer. She has won Tony, Grammy and Emmy awards forThe Color Purple andearned Oscar nomination forher role inWicked. She is a vocal champion of representation and queer identity.


14 Bradley Riches

Bradley Riches is best known for portraying James McEwan in Netflix’s Heartstopper, a coming of age series that exploresLGBTQIA+ love in all its forms. In 2023, Bradley released his debut book, “A” Different Kind Of Superpower, and in 2024, he appeared as a housemate on the 23rd series of Celebrity Big Brother.


15  Jon Tilli

As global chair of dbPride at Deutsche Bank, Jon Tilli is a committed advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and visibility. His work continues to drive meaningful progress across the financial sector and beyond.


16  Bobbi Pickard

Bobbi Pickard is CEO of Trans In The City, an organisation she founded to elevate trans and non-binary people in business. It nowbrings together over 350 organisations, collaborating on furthering trans awareness globally. Bobbi is patron of FFLAG and Wiltshire Pride, golden champion of Stonewall Housing and champion of Chippenham Pride.


17  Jude Guaitamacchi

Jude Guaitamacchi is a speaker and trans+ rights campaigner. They founded Trans+ Solidarity Alliance, the national advocacynetwork driving positive change for trans+ people in the UK. Jude won Campaigner Of The Year at the 2024 Rainbow Honours, among numerous other awards.


18  Rosie Jones

Comedian, writer and actor Rosie Jones has described herself as proud to be both disabled and gay. She has cerebral palsy, anduses her platform to discuss her experiences, hoping to empower the wider community. She recently toured the UK with her show, I Can’t Tell What She’s Saying.


19  Graham Norton

Graham Norton is a comedian, broadcaster, actor and writer best known for The Graham Norton Show. Hosting guests like MiriamMargolyes, Ncuti Gatwa and Ian McKellen, Graham has used his platform to champion LGBTQIA+ voices. He has also starred as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.


20  Joelle Taylor

Poet and playwright

Author of five poetry collections, Joelle Taylor won the 2021 T.S. Eliot Prize and the 2022 Polari Prize for LGBTQIA+ authors. Sheis a co-curator and host of Out-Spoken Live at the Southbank Centre, and released her most recent work Maryville last year.


21  Ben Hunte

Journalist, CNN anchor and correspondent

Ben Hunte is a journalist, news presenter and correspondent at CNN. In 2019, he became the BBC’s first official LGBT correspondent. Throughout his career, he has spoken openly about his experiences as a Black gay man, using his platform to amplify stories from the LGBTQIA+ community.


22  Leah Williamson CBE

Professional footballer

Leah Williamson is a footballer, vice-captain of Arsenal and captain of the England women’s team. A lifelong Arsenal player, shehas won domestic titles and the UEFA Women’s Champions League with the club. As England captain she led the Lionesses to consecutive UEFA Women’s EURO titles, becoming the first to lift two major trophies.


23  Jonathan Bailey

Jonathan Bailey is a British actor and outspoken LGBTQIA+ advocate. He uses his platform to challenge stereotypes and promotequeer visibility in the media. Known forplaying Anthony in Bridgerton, he co-founded the Shameless Fund to support LGBTQIA+ mental health, storytelling, and community resilience globally.


24  Munroe Bergdorf

Model and activist

Munroe Bergdorf is an activist, model, author, broadcaster and British Vogue contributing editor. She is the author of Talk To Me, andhas graced the covers of Vogue, Rolling Stone and Gay Times. In 2025, she released Love & Rage: Munroe Bergdorf, a film telling her unflinching story.


25  Tom Allen

Comedian, presenter and writer

Tom Allen is a comedian, actor, writer and presenter who has appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Mock The Week and The Last Leg. Heco-hosts Cooking With The Stars and podcast Likeminded Friends with Suzi Ruffell. Tom has written two memoirs, No Shame and Too Much, and his debut novel Common Decency came out this year.


26  Simon Blake OBE

CEO, Stonewall

Simon Blake has been CEO of Stonewall since September 2024, previously leading Mental Health First Aid England. Awarded an OBE in 2011 for voluntary sector service, he is also chair of the Support After Suicide Partnership and an ambassador for the DyingMatters campaign. A lifelong LGBTQIA+ advocate, he worked on the repeal of Section 28 and equalising the age of consent.


27  Yasmin Finney

Actor

Yasmin Finney is an English actor and internet personality. Initially, Yasmin gained a following through her TikTok videos about herexperiences as a Black British teenage trans woman. She starred as Elle Argent in the Netflix show Heartstopper and as Rose Noble in Doctor Who.


28 Alex Scott MBE

she/her

Sports presenter and former professional footballer

A sports presenter, pundit and former professional footballer, Alex Scott played for Arsenal in the Women’s Super League andmade 140 appearances for the England national team. She has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQIA+ rights throughout her career, notably wearing a rainbow armband while presenting the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.


29  Lianne Sanderson

Broadcaster and former professional footballer

Lianne Sanderson is a former professional football player who debuted for England in 2006 as part of the England squad for the2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She began her training with Arsenal in 1997 as part of its youth programme and is now a sports broadcaster.


30  Kezia Dugdale

Associate director, University of Glasgow, Centre for Public Policy

Kezia Dugdale is the incoming chair of Stonewall and a prominent voice for equality and social justice. A former leader of the Scottish Labour Party and MSP, she has also led the John Smith Centre for Public Service. Through her advocacy, public leadership and commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion, Kezia continues to champion equality, representation and positive change for LGBTQIA+ communities across the UK.


31  Ncuti Gatwa

Beginning his acting career on stage in Dundee, Ncuti Gatwa is best known for starring in Netflix’s Sex Education as Eric Effiong.He recently portrayed the 15th reincarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who, the first Black and queer actor to do so. He also appeared in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie in 2023.


32  Sandi Toksvig OBE

Broadcaster, comedian, presenter and writer

Sandi Toksvig is a broadcaster, comedian, presenter and writer. In 1994, Sandi came out as a lesbian, one of the first to do so whilein the public eye. She is also a political activist, having co-founded the Women’s Equality Party. She has championed LGBTQIA+ visibility throughout her career, including her BBC documentary on The Gateways Club.


33  Moud Goba

Moud Goba is an LGBTQIA+ and human rights activist with over 15 years’ experience working with grassroots community groups.She is currently chair of the board of trustees at UK Black Pride. In 2023, she was honoured with BET International’s Global GoodAward for “fostering LGBTQ+ safe spaces and refugee integration in society”.


34  Dame Julia Hoggett DBE

CEO, London Stock Exchange

Julia Hoggett joined the London Stock Exchange in 2021 and is its first openly gay CEO. She has featured as number two inOUTstanding’s list of top LGBTQIA+ executives. Julia received a DBE for services to business and to finance in the King’s Birthday Honours List 2024.


35  Cathryn Wright

Cathryn Wright is a senior leader at Sedulo, as well as the chair of Liverpool Biennial, the UK’s largest free festival of contemporaryvisual art. Having previously been the MD of Stonewall, Cathryn’s career has been defined by her commitment to LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility. She is passionate about building inclusive workplaces.


36  GK Barry

Influencer, podcaster and TV personality

GK Barry, real name Grace Keeling, is a popular British influencer and podcast host. She has used her platform to have candidconversations with queer guests, supporting visibility and acceptance. Her humour and platform foster safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ voices in digital and social media.

Eva Echo is a trans activist, writer and public speaker, passionate about trans rights and mental health. Eva is well known for her courageous legal action against NHS England in the High Court, challenging the unlawful waiting times for trans patients. She is also part of the Crown Prosecution Service’s hate crime panel.


45  Claire Harvey MBE

Claire Harvey MBE is a culture expert, Paralympian and the founder of Not In Our Name (NION). Established following the UKSupreme Court ruling, NION is a collective of women united in the belief that trans exclusion is not what women want, and that trans people deserve dignity, respect and safety. Nearly 100,000 women have added their signatures to NION’s message.


46  Lucy Spraggan

A fierce voice for LGBTQIA+ representation, Lucy Spraggan found fame as a contestant on The X Factor. She has gone on torelease eight studio albums with her latest, Other Sides Of The Moon, released last year. Her best-selling memoir, Process: Finding My Way Through, was published in 2023.


47  Jacqui Rhule-Dagher

Jacqui Rhule-Dagher is dedicated to promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusion and raising awareness surrounding intersectionality. In 2023, Jacqui founded Legally Lesbians, an initiative that saw 25 lesbian lawyers write about their careers and the importance of visibility. In 2024, she was named Diversity Champion of the Year at the DIVA Awards.


48  Gok Wan MBE

Gok Wan is a British fashion consultant, author, TV presenter, actor, DJ, chef and event manager. He presented How To Look GoodNaked from 2006 to 2010, and has previously collaborated with Gay Times on #GlobalPrideMakeover, raising awareness of the prejudice LGBTQIA+ people continue to face globally.


49  Dame Angela Eagle MP

Dame Angela Eagle is a British Labour Party politician serving as the MP for Wallasey since 1992. After coming out in 1997, DameAngela has provided powerful lesbian representation inside Parliament. She is a fierce ally to the trans community and has been part of landmark legislation for the LGBTQIA+ community.


50 Anthony Watson CBE, J.P

LGBTQIA+ activist Anthony Watson was appointed CBE in 2023 for services to the LGBTQIA community, Equality and Diversity.Anthony was the first openly gay CEO of a British bank, and is a patron of anti-LGBTQIA+ charity Diversity Role Models.


51  Rylan Clark

A TV and radio presenter, Rylan Clark rose to fame after competing on The X Factor in 2012, where he finished in fifth place. In2024, he released a documentary entitled Rylan: Football, Homophobia And Me, in which he, as a lifelong West Ham supporter, explored the complicated relationship between LGBTQIA+ fans and football.


52  Sir Ian McKellen

Renowned for his remarkable stage and screen performances, Sir Ian McKellen has portrayed iconic characters from Gandalf inThe Lord Of The Rings to Magneto in X-Men. A founding member of Stonewall, Sir Ian has been a staunch campaigner for LGBTQIA+ rights since he came out publicly in 1988.


53  Val McDermid

Val McDermid created the first British lesbian detective character in her debut, Report For Murder, in 1987. She’s since sold over 19million books, many featuring LGBTQIA+ characters. Her best-selling novels have been translated into more than 40 languages, and she’s also a regular broadcaster on radio and TV.

A seasoned event organiser and LGBTQIA+ advocate with over 12 years’ experience, Rebecca Paisis conceived and launched pioneering events like Winter Pride, Out On The Dock, and Pink Oktoberfest. She actively supports organisations includingStonewall, Terrence Higgins Trust, Diversity Role Models and Imaan, supporting LGBTQIA+ Muslims.


57  Marty Davies

Writer, campaigner, cultural strategist and founder and CEO of Trans+ History Week

Marty Davies is a writer, campaigner and the founder of Trans+ History Week. Launched in May 2024, the week-long observanceaims to celebrate the millennia-old history of transgender, non-binary, gender-diverse and intersex individuals. Working with QueerAF, this year’s Trans+ History Week offered lessons from history to help fight current rollbacks on trans+ rights.

Nadia Whittome is a British politician and the Labour MP for Nottingham East and has held the position since 2019. She is an advocate for migrants and refugees, people of colour, disabled people and the LGBTQIA+ community.


59  Dawn Airey CBE

A veteran of the media industry, Dawn Airey was recently appointed chair of Arts Council England. She is also chancellor of EdgeHill University, and chairs the Barclays FA Women’s Super League and Championship board, the National Youth Theatre and Digital Theatre+. Dawn was awarded a CBE in 2024 for services to theatre and charity.


60  Drew Dalton

Stephanie Fuller joined Switchboard, the national LGBTQIA+ helpline, in 2021 as general manager, bringing with her experience ofoperating at senior level in a variety of non-profit organisations. Emily Hamilton is the vice president of group change at RS Group and deputy CEO of Trans In The City. She is also the founderand chair of the world’s first LGBTQIA+ supporters’ association in world professional rugby, QuinsPride at Harlequins. Throughout her career, she has advocated for inclusion and the ability of people to be their true selves at work.


73  Jane Hill

A BBC broadcaster and journalist, Jane Hill currently fronts the BBC News At Six and Ten and weekend bulletins. She was the UK’sfirst openly gay newsreader on terrestrial TV and advocates about the importance of LGBTQIA+ representation on television and greater representation of gay women.
